This document is a companion document to “Understanding the Capacities of the Mark 3 Pump”, this is a 15 page document that will explain in detail all of the factors, with examples, diagrams, pump curves and formulas that will enable and provide you, the pump operator, with the knowledge to determine the number of pumps, hose layouts, pump spacing and the right flow rates for a particular task and give you the confidence such will require for success. And you will be accurate.
This information, as with all of the other material on this site, is contingent that the pumps are in proper working order, the right tolerances and have good seals.
